PointPro awarded contract to develop pre-feasibility studies for implementation of Integrated Solid Waste Management Solutions in Strumica-Radovis and Polog, Macedonia


The Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe (REC), Country Office Macedonia, has awarded PointPro Consulting the assignment: Pre-feasibility Assessment of Options for Establishment of Integrated Solid Waste Management Systems in the Strumica-Radovis and Polog Regions, Macedonia. The task is part of a wider development initiative funded by the Norway Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and implemented by the REC in both Regions.

Throughout the assignment, PointPro’s Sustainable Development consulting team will be assessing a wide range of practical technical solutions and organizational possibilities for initiation of activities focused on establishment of systems for integrated management of municipal, industrial and agriculture wastes in the Regions. Important aspect of the pre-feasibility assessment is also the development of ISWM implementation strategies and business models, separately for both Regions. The assignment is considered an important activity that will help the Regions solidify and significantly improve their environmental performance.
