The project deals with assessment of possibilities
for establishment of a natural gas distribution system in the Municipality of
Strumica. The overall project goal is to increase the competitiveness of the
local economy through: (1) enabling direct access of all end-users to the
natural gas as an energy source; and (2) improvement of quality of life for the
local community. The technical concept
of the gas distribution system is based on the Virtual Gas Pipeline technology.
PointPro Consulting will provide the following services: data collection
and analysis, natural gas demand projection, gas distribution system technical
analysis, financial and economic cost-benefit analysis, environmental impact
assessment, environmental management and safety plans preparation,
implementation planning, final studies preparation.
