Client: Regional Environmental Centre (REC) for CEE, Hungary.
Period: 2001 – 2003

International expert to the REReP 5.3 project which establishes the regional project preparation support program to identify and package bankable projects (project design and feasibility analysis) in the SEE.
Two pilot countries for the current period were Romania (5 municipal investment project in wastewater), and Serbia (4 municipal investments in solid waste management).
Selected, trained and supervised 10 consulting firms in Serbia and Romania on preparation of feasibility studies for municipal investments.

 
Building of Local Governance – Development of an Enabling Economic Environment, LED Strategic Planni Print E-mail

Period: Nov 2004 – March 2005 & Dec 2005

Task 1: Design and Delivery of Capacity Building Program for Local/Regional Economic Development (LED) Units in 19 Municipalities in Macedonia . Additionally delivered for 11 municipalities in December 2005.

Task 2: Assist the LED Partnership of Stip/Karbinci municipalities to produce a Baseline Study for the local economies and Strategy for Local Economic Development.

 
Assessment of the Capacity Development Needs of Agriculture Extension Service in Resen Print E-mail

Beneficiary: Macedonian Agency for Agriculture Promotion and Development, Working Unit in Resen
Period: May – June, 2005

The report (project deliverable) prepared provided a review of the current situation of agricultural extension on the Macedonian part of the region, identified capacity development needs and specific activities and measures to ensure future development of the service, and provided recommendations for cooperation with the Albanian extension service as well as with local agricultural associations.

The report is primarily focused on the role, institutional setup, level of expertise and the capacity development needs of the Macedonian national Agency for Agriculture Promotion and Development, and specifically it's Working Unit (branch office) in Resen.
