Mr. Simon Avramovski, Manager and Co-owner of PointPro Consulting Skopje has been elected as member of the Governing board of the newly established Chamber of Consultants and Trainers of RM. 

The First Assembly for establishing a Chamber of Consultants and Trainers of Republic of Macedonia took place on the 26th of June 2009 in Skopje, at which the Statute and Program of the Chamber were ratified and Bodies of the Chamber were elected.

The Financial Platform Conference on Investment Strategy Development and Access to Finance

The objectives of this half-day, morning event are to:

• Communicate to a wider and relevant audience ( relevant local businesses and financial institutions)  the systematically identified access to finance issues, bottlenecks and sustainable solutions

• Attract an increased base of relevant businesses from Macedonia having been formulated their expansion and investment goals and seeking external finance.

• Continue to present and discuss the evolving opportunities for the financial services demand and supply sides (businesses and banks)

• Present the currently identified pool of access to finance facilitators (consultants) to be working on the MCP Financial Platform in the future

• Announce the service model offered by the USAID/MCP designed to systematically support the business finance case in Macedonia

• Serve as a match-making and networking opportunity between all access to finance stakeholders, i.e. the Macedonia businesses, financial services providers and process facilitators.

During the period January through October 2008, PointPro Consulting experts have worked under individual contracts awarded by the SUDEP, on project development and feasibility appraisal of the following municipal infrastructure development projects:

1. Establishment of Regional Solid Waste Management System in the Ohrid-Struga Region
2. Energy Efficiency Improvement of School Buildings in Strumica
3. Flood Protection of the Town of Negotino
4. Establishment of Wood-fired Central Heating System in the Town of Makedonski Brod.

For each of the listed projects, the team of experts provided a full set of project packaging services including assessment of projects’ technical, financial, institutional and environmental aspects.

Support to the Decentralization Project (SUDEP) is an EU-funded project, implemented by the Finnish Consulting Group International.

PointPro Consulting is involved in the Conference on Financial Services Innovations on 24 September 2008, organized by USAID's Macedonia Competitiveness Project.

The Conference for Financial Services Innovations is an activity supposed to summarize the first, i.e. pilot phase of the Financial Platform project.  PointPro Consulting is going to present the findings of the Access to Finance (for more information click here ).  The objectives of this half-day, afternoon event are to:

• Based on the several business expansion (pilot) projects developed by the MCP  make public to local businesses and banks the systematically identified access to finance issues, bottlenecks and sustainable solutions
• Present and discuss the evolving opportunities for the financial services demand and supply sides (businesses and banks)
• Match make the various opportunities and stakeholders in order to improve access to finance in Macedonia
• Announce the financial services offer by the USAID/MCP designed to systematically support the business finance case in near future
• Serve as an networking opportunity between the Macedonia businesses and financial services providers
